Since 2010, I've served the communities of Central Texas as a neuromuscular and psychomotor specialist in pain management and trauma rehabilitation.
Fifteen years in complimentary medicine and wellness has brought me a wide spectrum of clients, experiences, and mentors including David Lauterstein & John Conway, Yolande Norris-Clarke, Naoli Vinaver, Sister Morningstar, Rupert Isaacson, Bonnie Bainbridge-Cohen, and Somananda, eventually leading to my evolution as an independent holistic practitioner.
In 2020 I began my private practice ApotheosisTherapeutics as a soft-tissue and neuromuscular rehabilitative specialist, wellness facilitator, experiential therapist and kinetic educator.
Apotheosis means achieving the highest potential.
Unfortunately "rehabilitation" and "therapy" is too often a grueling chore or unpleasant obligation.
My professional philosophy is that properly applied holistic rehabilitation and functional correction is an enjoyable and pleasurable experience that leaves individuals with a fuller, deeper more satisfying relationship with their bodies and lifestyle.
Healing traditions teach that suffering arises from a loss of body-mind coordination.
Harmoniously integrating the bioelectric structures of the body, from bone to breath, is the answer to chronic dysfunction and cellular recovery.
Through time and consistency, individuals eventually gain the self-awareness, knowledge and neural memory needed to optimize upon most lifestyle and health challenges.
My background in somatic healing arts and complimentary medicine inspired my choice to experience a primal pregnancy and unassisted home birth in 2022, free of all medical intervention. In support of peaceful pregnancy and nonviolent birth, I offer adult classes for infant/pediatric massage, parent-child bonding and holistic perinatal support for mothers including natural ultrasound, village prenatal celebration, closing bones ceremony, and birth trauma council.
